Plant of the Day - Buddleja davidii - Summer lilac

Today's plant of the day is the Summer lilac. This plant is also known as Butterfly Bush. Many butterfly species🦋 eat from its nectar, hence its name. Its botanical name is Buddleja davidii. This shrub is native to East Asia but can be found in Europe too. I took this picture in Denmark, where it was introduced over 200 years ago.
